This application allows you to record vocals over your own beats. It contains several screens.

Session List Screen

The first screen is the session list screen. This screen list recording sessions previously created. The menu button is used to show hidden options such as Help, Exit, and New Session. You can long press on the session to Rename or Remove the Seesion.

Recording Booth Screen

After selecting a session, you will be presented the recording screen(the booth). This screen have several buttons to control the recording and playback. You can click the menu button to show the hidden menu options such as Select a Track, Remove Track, Remove Vocals, and Return to Sessions.

Before you begin recording, You could select a track from the music on your SD Card. To select a track you must click the menu button then press Select a Track. You will be presented a list of music files on your device. Once you select a track, you can play the track or record vocals with the track.

Track Selection Screen

This application will create a directory /sdcard/com.ubq.sixteenbars.tracks. This location can be used to store your tracks.

It is required that you have your SD-Card installed. For better recording, kill other apps to make sure your device can be dedicated to encoding the sessions. It is recommended you use your wired hands-free set and headphones when using this application.
